The Booker Reading Challenge

Join Rae, Nicki, Neil and the Booker Prize readers, pledged to read the six books on the 2023 shortlist. We’ll share our reading experiences on a WhatsApp group and will meet to discuss our findings with a glass of wine here at the bookshop on the evening of 26th November.

Will we all agree with the chosen winner of this year’s £50,000 prize? We expect some keen debate! We’d love you to join the conversation – and enjoy some excellent books along the way. There’s no fee to join, just let us know you would like to take part and we will add you to the Booker Prize 2023 Reading Group.

Key Dates – 1st August: Longlist announced. 21st September: Shortlist announced. 26th November: The winner! Meet at the bookshop to share the announcement and discuss our favourite of this year’s Booker competition.
